Which areas does the Fort Myers list cover?
All of Lee County: Fort Myers, Cape Coral, Lehigh Acres, North Fort Myers, Bonita Springs, Estero, Fort Myers Beach, Sanibel and Boca Grande. It's the county's whole probate release, not a ZIP-code slice.
What's in each lead?
The case number and case type, the person who passed away, the matched house, its county value, homestead status, time since death, a late-filed flag, how strong the match is, and source links. Where the Clerk's release lists who opened the estate and their address, that's in the file too.
How fresh is this?
The Lee County Clerk publishes new probate cases once a month, around the 1st. We match them and send the list within a few days of that release.
Does every estate come with a house?
No. Not everyone who passes away owns a home. On the September list, 119 of 230 Lee estates had a likely house match. You still get the rest with their court details.
What is a “late-filed estate”?
Probate is sometimes opened years after a death, for example when an heir needs to sell the house. We mark estates where the death was 3 or more years before the filing so you can decide how to treat them. They are still new court filings.
Is this legal?
Yes. Probate filings and property records are public records under Florida law, and every lead links to both. We're a research service. This isn't legal advice, and it isn't a consumer report.
What shows on my card statement?
Every charge shows on your card statement as FL PROBATE WEEKLY.
Do you contact the families?
No. We never contact families. We sell research to investors and real estate pros, and we expect you to use it lawfully and respectfully.
What do you leave out?
Guardianships of minors, sealed or confidential cases and mental-health cases. We also strip out Social Security numbers, birth dates and medical details.
